Germany's Wieskirche
About 48 km (30 mi) south-east of Munich is the Wieskirche, a pilgrimage church in the German Rococo style. Begun in 1745, the church was designed by Bavarian Baroque architect Dominikus Zimmermann and is considered his finest work.
