| American actress Jane Fonda starred in the films Barbarella (1968), Coming Home (1978), and The China Syndrome (1979), and won an Academy Award for Best Actress in Klute (1971). In 1981 she appeared in the film On Golden Pond with her father, actor Henry Fonda, who won an Oscar for his performance. Jane Fonda also gained fame for her political activism and her line of exercise books and videos. | ||||||
