Cardiff's City Centre

Cardiff's City Centre
Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is located at the mouth of the River Taff, on the Bristol Channel. At one time among the world's largest coal-exporting ports, Cardiff remains an important industrial, commercial, and government centre in Wales. Cathays Park, at the heart of the city, is bounded by a fine set of civic buildings, mostly built at the beginning of the 20th century. These include the city hall, the law courts, the Welsh National Museum, and Cardiff University.
