Mount McKinley Reaches for the Sky

Mount McKinley Reaches for the Sky
Mount McKinley in Alaska, which is also called Denali, is the tallest mountain in North America, soaring 6,194 m (20,320 ft) above sea level. During the summer the sun shines 18 to 20 hours per day in this northern region, and Mount McKinley glows in a sunrise that takes place between 2.00 a.m. and 2.30 a.m. In the area surrounding Mount McKinley, forests are rich with a variety of wildlife, including grizzly bears, moose, wolves, and foxes.
