Port on the Tagus, Portugal

The Tagus, the largest river in Portugal, rises in Spain and runs through Portugal to empty into the Atlantic Ocean. One of the largest seaports in Europe extends for roughly 32 km (20 mi) along the banks of the Tagus to Lisbon at the river’s mouth.
