Temple of Apollo at Didyma
Apollo, god of music, poetry, archery, prophecy, and healing, was the supreme Greek deity. The temple dedicated to him at Didyma, which also housed an oracle, was built c. 300 bc after the previous temple had been destroyed by the Persians in 494 bc.
