Film Projector

Film Projector
This diagram shows the inside of a film projector, used to transfer an image from a spool of film on to a screen. The film is fed through the gate of the projector by means of the intermittent sprocket, as illustrated, and runs at 24 frames per second. The width of films may vary—the projector above is for use with standard 35-mm film.
