Dayton Peace Accord

Dayton Peace Accord
In November 1995 an agreement to end nearly four years of fighting in Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed by, left to right, the Serbian president Slobodan Milošević, the Bosnian president Alija Izetbegović, and the Croatian president Franjo Tudjman. The three Balkan leaders made the pledge after negotiating for 21 days at a United States military base near Dayton, Ohio.
