Aircraft-Carrier Helicopter

A military helicopter sets down on an aircraft carrier. This particular helicopter, equipped with pontoons and a winch (visible left of centre under the main rotor, and extending from the helicopter’s body), is employed in search-and-rescue operations at sea. Aircraft carriers provide a mobile base for military helicopters and planes.
