| In 1923 American film producer Samuel Goldwyn formed his own production company, Samuel Goldwyn Productions, which soon became known for producing high-quality films. Some of the most noted of Goldwyn’s films are All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), Wuthering Heights (1939), and The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), which won an Academy Award for Best Picture. | ||||||
