Homage to Kiesler’s Endless House
Employing techniques he learnt as a billboard painter, American pop artist James Rosenquist created enormous canvases combining enlarged, fragmented images that seem unrelated to each other. Often the images are inspired by advertising or other commercial sources. Painted in 1962, Homage to Kiesler’s Endless House is in the Mayor Gallery in London.
