Pyrenees Mountains
The Pyrenees extend along the entire southern border of France from the Mediterranean Sea to the Bay of Biscay. Their rugged peaks and high altitudes form a natural border. Pic de Vignemale, whose summit reaches an altitude of 3,298 m (10,820 ft), is the highest peak in the French Pyrenees.
