Paolo and Vittorio Taviani

The Italian brothers Vittorio and Paolo Taviani have worked together on writing and directing several popular 20th-century historical films. Their first feature film, Un Uomo da Bruciare (1962; A Man for the Killing), was about Sicilian peasants oppressed by the Mafia.
