Claude Lelouch
French film-maker Claude Lelouch came to international attention in 1966 with his film Un Homme et une Femme (A Man and a Woman), which won the Grand Prix at Cannes and Oscars for Best Foreign Film and Best Screenplay. The film stars Jean-Louis Trintignant and Anouk Aimée as a racing driver and a film production assistant who have each suffered a bereavement, and follows their first tentative steps towards a love affair.
