Louis XVI
The grandson of Louis XV, married to Marie Antoinette, Louis XVI was considered a well-intentioned but weak king. A heavy tax burden and court extravagances eventually led to a popular revolt and the French Revolution. He was later guillotined by the revolutionary regime.
