Zeus
The greatest gods of the Greek pantheon were often depicted as humans of powerful beauty and vigour. This bronze figure of Zeus, god of the sky and ruler of the gods, was probably once shown hurling a thunderbolt. It dates from 460 bc and stands 1.95 m (over 6 ft) tall.
