Creation of Adam

Creation of Adam
Among the most famous frescoes in the world are those that Michelangelo painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, in the Vatican, Rome, between 1508 and 1512. The frescoes depict nine scenes from the Old Testament. This detail, The Creation of Adam, shows God, in human form, giving Adam the breath of life.
