Skenfrith, Monmouthshire
Skenfrith lies on the border with the English county of Hereford and Worcester in the north of Monmouthshire. The town contains the ruins of a mid-13th-century castle, bottom centre, which is surrounded on all sides by an irregularly shaped stone wall. Like many other small towns and villages outside industrialized South Wales, Skenfrith still relies largely on agriculture, combined with tourism. Areas like this are also attracting some light industry.
