Mexico City

Mexico City
City officials in Mexico City created several district divisions in the city to facilitate governing this sprawling metropolis of 20 million inhabitants. These delegaciones encompass smaller neighbourhoods known to city residents as colonias. Avenida 5 de Mayo, an east-west avenue in Delegación Cuauhtémoc near the centre of the city, connects Alameda Park with the National Cathedral.
