Senefelder's Lithography Press
The lithographic hand-cranked printing process was developed by Aloys Senefelder, a map inspector, at the end of the 18th century. It was used primarily for printing works of art, which were called lithographs. The process was the forerunner of modern “offset litho” techniques.
