Bush House in the Strand in London is the headquarters of the BBC World Service, the international radio service of the British Broadcasting Corporation. The BBC World Service was founded in 1932 (as the Empire Service) and transmits radio programmes in 43 languages around the world. With a regular audience of more than 140 million, it reaches more people than any other international broadcaster.
