Bristol Cathedral

Bristol Cathedral
Bristol Cathedral was founded in 1140 by Robert FitzHarding as an Augustinian abbey, but by 1542 the building had been made a cathedral. The building is set with Saxon-influenced structures, mosaic floors, wall paintings, carvings, and gardens. The chapter house is Norman with fine arcading and dog-tooth mouldings, typical of the period.
