Our Lady of the Thorn

Our Lady of the Thorn
Located 88 km (55 mi) from Châlons in Champagne, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Thorn, built in the 15th century, demonstrates the flamboyant Gothic style. It is distinguished by an original façade, made up of a series of grimacing gargoyles and two arches of differing height. The nave has a statue of the Virgin Mary and a tomb dating from the 16th century.
