L'Omnia Cinema
L'Omnia was one of the cinemas owned by French silent-film producer Charles Pathé. In 1907 Pathé decided to rent out the films his company made, rather than sell them. This began the industrialization of cinema and the growth of his own cinema empire, which made films in its own studios, employing well-known producers and directors. Pathé Frères, established in 1896, soon owned cinemas in Paris and the provinces, and expanded into overseas markets, for some years dominating the burgeoning cinema industry in the developing world and Europe.
