Cloth Hall, Ypres
The cloth hall in the market square at Ypres in south-western Belgium. In the 13th century this was the largest cloth hall, depot, market hall, and inspection office for Flemish cloth. In the foreground is the Renaissance-style Nieuwwerck (or town hall) and in the background is the tower of the Church of St Maartens.
