Pennines
The Pennines in northern England extend from the Peak District of Derbyshire as far north as the border with Scotland. The highest point is Cross Fell at 893 m (2,930 ft). A challenging path for walkers called the Pennine Way follows the mountain ridge for about 400 km (250 mi).
