Graham Greene

Many of English writer Graham Greene’s novels portray characters under various forms of moral, psychological, or religious stress in a number of exotic international locations. The Quiet American, set in Vietnam during the war with the United States, was published in 1955 and Our Man in Havana (1958) is set in pre-Castro Cuba. Greene later published autobiographical accounts of his world travels.
