As World War II wore on, new types of weapons entered the armouries of the competing powers. The German V-weapons, the V-1 flying bomb and the V-2 missile, were of limited military use because of their poor accuracy, but they brought a new terror as robot weapons. Here, Robert Cruickshank from the Ministry of War Information talks in October 1944 of the fear inspired by the V-weapons.
