Worm's Head, Gower Peninsula

Worm's Head, Gower Peninsula
Worm's Head, with the serpentine shape from which its name is derived, is seen here from the north jutting out from the coast of south Wales into the Severn River estuary. Cut off each day by the tide, this uninhabited piece of land is the most southerly extremity of the Gower Peninsula, and the site of a nature reserve.
