Kenneth MacMillan

Kenneth MacMillan
Kenneth MacMillan was director of the Royal Ballet between 1970 and 1977. His dancing career was abandoned because of stage fright, but his choreography made him famous. In this photograph he is on stage with his dancers at the Opera House, Covent Garden, for the world premiere of his work Gloria.
