Bristol Docks

The old docks of this once great West Country port have been carefully restored, and the quayside warehouses transformed into arts and leisure centres. In the distance can be seen the Cabot Tower, erected to the memory of John Cabot, who sailed from Bristol to Newfoundland in 1497.
