Yves Montand

Italian-born French actor Yves Montand was successful as a singer early in his career. His breakthrough in films came with Le Salaire de la Peur (1953; The Wages of Fear). Seven years later he played opposite Marilyn Monroe in the Hollywood film Let's Make Love (1960).
