Jacques Lacan

Jacques Lacan
The French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, founder of "L'Ecole Freudienne de Paris" in 1964, is credited with transmitting Sigmund Freud's views into the French psychological and psychiatric thinking. Today, however, he is regarded as having made most significant contributions to the theory of language and symbols.
