Trinity College (Oxford), college of the University of Oxford, England. Trinity was founded in 1555, and takes undergraduates and graduates of both sexes. The head of college is known as the Principal. Trinity is next door to Balliol college and the two have a famous rivalry to this day, mostly manifested in practical jokes. Famous alumni include Cardinal Newman and William Pitt.
