Llangefni

Llangefni, town on the River Cefni in the centre of the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. This location enabled Llangefni to become a market centre for the agricultural activity of the island, a role that has continued to the present day. The main industry within the town is the manufacture of agricultural equipment. A wind farm has been established on grazing land to the north of the town, while to the north-west lies the reservoir of Llyn Alaw, which supports wildfowl and a trout fishery. Population 4,643 (1991).
