Windows Live® Search Results Marka (currency), monetary unit of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The marka consists of 100 pfennigs. As at early 2007, 1.50 markas equalled US$1. The convertible marka was introduced in June 1998, replacing the Yugoslav dinar, and was pegged on a par with the German deutschmark and, from January 2002, the Euro.
