Definition:
 
1. card game of winning tricks: a card game played with the highest 32 cards in the pack in which each player receives five cards and must take at least three tricks to win. It is played mainly in North America.

2. thwarting of opponent at euchre: an instance of preventing another player from taking the three tricks needed to win a game of euchre
