adjoin [ ə jóyn ] (3rd person present singular adjoins, present participle adjoining, past and past participle adjoined)

Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb border: to be next to or share a common border with something, especially an area of land
The two properties adjoin.

2. transitive verb connect: to attach or add on something ( archaic )
