Napoleonic Wars:
The Napoleonic Wars (1799-1815) were armed conflicts fought by France, under the leadership of Napoleon Bonaparte, against a series of coalitions and alliances of other European states, including Austria, Britain, Prussia, Spain, the Netherlands, and Sardinia. Napoleon changed the nature of warfare and military strategy for a century, even though he was ultimately defeated.
